I believe a person is often presented with challenges in his or her life and that sometimes we need help in facing those challenges. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples to overcome these obstacles and find solutions that lead to a balanced life. These challenges often arise from relationships, both personal and professional, from past experiences, from depression or anxiety, as well as from physical challenges such as chronic pain or illness, among many other factors.
I actively work with my clients using humor and exploration to change patterns of behavior or thinking that have not benefitted them. I approach each client as an individual and examine the many systems impacting their lives (family, friends, work, personal history, physical, and behavioral and cognitive systems.)
I work with couples and individuals toward achieving a happier, more productive, more balanced life.
